Dinosaur Dayz at the Brewery BBC's Walking with Dinosaurs Exhibition at Cheltenham Art Gallery & Museum

On Thursday 5th August from 12 until 4pm , take part in excavating bones with the Science Boffins, using the tricks of the archaeologist’s trade and also make a mould of a real dinosaur tooth or claw.

The event will be accompanied by chilled out tunes from some of Cheltenham’s hottest musical talent live on the busking hotspot and promise to be a great, creative way to spend a summer day with the family.

The event coincides with the BBC Walking With Dinosaurs - Jurassic Exhibition hosted at the Art Gallery from 19th June 2010. The exhibition will enable visitors to get up close and personal with these incredible creatures and give a realistic taste of their prehistoric world.

Clara Hambling, Virtual Arts Officer at Cheltenham Art Gallery & Museum said: “We are delighted that our ongoing partnership with the Brewery has enabled us to take our activities out and about to other places where families meet and spend quality time together. The Brewery is an ideal venue for these programmes of activities and we hope that by linking them to our eagerly anticipated dinosaur exhibition, both venues will see lots of new visitors.”

Alll the events are free for families to participate in and there is no need to book in advance.
