World Dance Festival
Put on your dancing shoes ready for a World Dance Festival at The Brewery in Cheltenham on Saturday 10th July 2010 .
Between 12pm and 6pm the outside space at The Brewery will be alive with music, featuring the infectious beat of disco, bongos and maracas.
Under the guidance of DJ and dance teacher Thomas Melendez from Salsa Del Sol you can join in and move to the beat of the best of Latin music including Salsa, Mambo, Cha-Cha, Zumba, Merengue, Cuban La Rueda and Bachata.
There will also be lessons in the art of belly dance with Carol Gibbon and her girls from Mirage belly dance troupe, plus some breathtaking break dance performances by talented youngsters from the Coady Crew.
Flamenco dancers and guitarists will be raising the heat, then Gloucestershire Jive and Swing will be adding a flavour of jazz to the mix.
And the kids can join in too with special line-ups for children, as well as a bouncy castle it promises to be a lively, colourful afternoon for all the family, and it’s all completely free!
