The Brewery was delighted to host a variety of poetry speech, dance and entertainment on Saturday 10th October as sponsors of the Cheltenham Literature Festival 2009.  Hundreds of people visited the centre to hear the witty verse of talented poets - old and new, while singer Sally Crabtree wowed children with personalised songs made just for them under her copper poet-tree.  Emergency Poet on Call Marcus Moore was available to provide poetry on a split second request, wandering in and out of the shops and restaurants on site.  Comedian and escapologist extraordinaire Gareth Jay wowed crowds with his hilarious energetic show as he desperately tried to escape from the 100 metres of clingfilm he was wrapped in.  Coady Crew dance club performed two 45 minute shows of high energy street dance with dozens of children taking part.

Look out for more entertainment at the Brewery this Saturday 17th October, with more events held in conjunction with Cheltenham Literature Festival 2009.  Click here for more details.
