FREE ACTIVITIES FOR KIDS IN AUGUST

School Holiday Activities for kids throughout August  

Every Thursday in August, the Brewery will be hosting a series of activities, events and workshops to keep your little ones entertained, from practising circus skills to feeding animals.  From 11am - 4pm every Thursday:

Thursday 6th August - Circus Workshop

Back by popular demand after a session here last summer! The circus comes to the Brewery - with skilled entertainers running workshops throughout the day.  A great chance for children (and adults!) to learn a new skill, such as juggling, Diablo, stilts, mini-bike, plate spinning. 

Thursday 13th August - Harry Potter themed
Treasure Hunt  

Come dressed up as your favourite Harry Potter character!  A treasure hunt around the Brewery with clues for children to find.  Lots of fun for children and parents who help them out.  Prizes to be won and free face painting for kids throughout the day!  

Thursday 20th August - Big Games Day Experience

Roll up! Roll up! All the fun of the fair!  The centre of the Brewery will be filled with giant games such as Mega Four, see if you're flexible enough to take part in the Limbo Challenge, play giant Snakes and Ladders, Children’s table football, Giant chess, Noughts & crosses, Giant Jenga and more!  A great day of fun activities for little ones and parents alike. 

Thursday 27th August - Animal Encounter Mobile Zoo

A very popular mobile zoo which keeps getting bigger and better. A general selection of animals including snakes, lizards, rabbits, guinea pigs, ferrets and creepy crawlies. 

Animal handling of all the animals is carried out, with informative talks. Children can take part in activities such as animal grooming, feeding and walking with an animal quiz near the end of the day. This workshop is not only brilliant fun but educational too.
