Bet on the Brewery after the Cheltenham Races
Once more the Brewery Cheltenham celebrates each night of the races with live music, entertainment and a variety of places to eat to suit all tastes.
The whole centre will be transformed into an “Irish Village ”, with live Irish and local music, Irish dancing, two Guinness bars, plus promotions and offers available in many of the restaurant outlets.
The fun begins each evening of the races (Tuesday 15th – Friday 18th March) from 5pm. So why not pay us a visit on your way back from Cheltenham Racecourse? We're just 15 minutes walk from the course back on the way to town.
Live Irish music with the Roving Crows - plus Irish Dancing
From 5pm until 7pm funky, contemporary Irish band The Roving Crows will provide free entertainment in a marquee under
Cupola Tower, and afterwards in Après Bar from 8.30pm ‘til late. This four piece band has its roots firmly in traditional Irish music and is guaranteed to get your feet tapping. Check out the Roving Crows myspace page here .
The Roving Crows will also be welcoming the McCarthy-Felton Irish Dancers who will perform from 5:30pm for an hour each night.
JakeBox
Between 7.00pm and 9.00pm a change of tempo is offered when local musicians take to the stage. On Tuesday and Friday nights, midlands group JakeBox will be performing a range of lively acoustic numbers from 50's music to more recent decades. The first half of the set will be quite relaxed with numbers such as 'stuck in the middle' and 'call me', leading to upbeat rock songs , with the second half turning to rock and roll, with quite a few Elvis classics plus a few originals thrown in.
Thrill Collins Perform
On Wednesday & Thursday from 7pm -9pm, local ska/jazz/skiffle band Thrill Collins will perform a range of what some might call 'cheesy' numbers from the last few decades - but with a twist. Robbie, Andrew and Tristan are all Gloucestershire lads and have made a name for themselves as being Cheltenham’s Best Band ™. Check out some of their unique interpretations on their myspace page .

Street Entertainment
On Thursday and Friday nights, look out for street performers Thomas Trilby and Chums, with their dazzling fire juggling performances and comedy stilt walking.
The lads last year caused mischeif and delight with customers posing as race punters and security/door men.
Great choice of restaurants and party venues
All the bars and restaurants – Nandos, Frankie & Benny’s, Prezzo, Après,Chiquito and The Real China – will be entering into the spirit of the ‘Craic’. You can enjoy breakfast at some outlets plus lunch before the racing, with evening entertainment and dining later on.
Watch the racing live on the biggest screens in Cheltenham at Après and with Ladbrokes just around the corner, and Ladbrokes staff on hand with betting slips and the latest odds, you’ll find everything you need for an unforgettable 2011 Gold Cup Festival at The Brewery.
